IMPORTANT DATES 2019

As the earth begins to awaken, so do we. Here at Drimlabarra ,lots of hustle and bustle of preparing for the new year of planting.
We would just like to share the new dates for the calendar.
Wednesday workshops are returning to give the more local people a chance to join in without having to commit to a whole weekend.

February

  • 18th -We will be welcoming new garden elves , Anastacia from Brittany +River from UK.
  • 20th –Wednesday Workshop– Vegan cookery
  • 27th- Wednesday workshop -Practical Herbal Medicine Making

March

  • 8th-10th -Nicola will be lecturing in Belfast at Danny O’Rawe ‘s Excelsior College . A few places still available.
  • 20th- Wednesday workshop-Vegan cookery
  • 22nd-24th March- Practical Herbal Medicine making Weekend –
  • Time of renewal .Looking at spring herbs for cleansing and strengthening.

April

  • 10th- Wednesday workshop– Herbal- Time of renewal
  • 12th-14th – Herb weekend
  • ”Spring into health”- Exploring the new growth that will give you a boost.
  • learning the traditional significance of Oestara and plants important at this time.

 Wednesday workshops     

  • 17th – Vegan celebration cooking
  • 24th – Vegan cooking (possible)
  • 26th-29th KEITH will be lecturing at Excelsior College Belfast IRELAND
  • 30th night BELTANE Celebrations

 

MAY

  • 1st – We will be welcoming the new 2019 Apprentices
  • Beltane fire ceremony (Internal)
  • 17th-20th- We will be taking our apprentices to the wonderful HERBFEAST in Co.Mayo Ireland, where Keith will be sharing some of his Celtic Plant Wisdom.

 

JUNE

  • 7th-9th We will be attending the 25th Anniversary of the unmissable Arran folk festival where Keith will be running the open sessions in afternoons. Musicians from far and near are welcome to join in. So bring those instruments and voices!
  • 10th-23rd- Celtic Herbal Medicine Intensive – 14 days of immersion into the timeless landscape of Arran.
    We will be connecting deeply with its flora.
  • 26th Apprentices fly away home, hopefully spreading their newfound inspirations worldwide.

 

JULY

Wednesday workshops

AUGUST

Lammas CHMI 2

  • 1st-11th – Including the chance to enjoy the Highland Games  on Saturday 10th August

 

SEPTEMBER

  •  First weekend friday -monday A contemplative approach to health and welbeing with Keith

November 2nd ARRAN Vegfest Keith and Nicola will be giving talks and have a stall there with information on the SSHM and also selling herbs and some preparations, Creams etc.
